Important: You can still submit by the 26th (optional)! Competition extended to the 30th, given the high number of players! THEME: THE GAME JAM HAS STARTED. The theme for the Worst Game Jam is GRANDMA'S INSTRUCTIONS . To understand: The Grandma's Instructions deal with directions that are intended well but amazingly unclear. Consider the way a grandparent gives an explanation of a recipe: "add in the flour when it seems right to you", "bake it for a while", "you'll know when it's finished". Although the kindness is evident, the exactness is missing. The main point is that the game gives the player vague, disordered, incomplete, or odd guidance, and the enjoyment comes from figuring out what it actually means. Additionally, try to fool the player! Think of instructions that tell the player to do one thing, but doing such a "thing" actually leads to something worse happening in the game! Edit: A quick reminder for the people doing the theme. While the game does say “Grandma's Instructions,” that doesn’t mean your games have to include a literal grandma. Doing so is perfectly fine and your choice, but it’s mainly about understanding what Grandma's instructions are! The most unintuitive controls, art you drew in five minutes, a soundtrack you recorded by shrieking into your phone. Broken, ugly, confusing, whatever…
