Halloween 2026: A Witch’s Familiar Make a cosy game about a witch’s magical companion! Welcome to the Forever Jamming Halloween 2026 jam! This is the first year and we have decided to do something a bit unusual with the theme, we'll be exploring the gentle, magical and wonderfully cosy side of Halloween. A witch’s familiar could be a black cat, a tiny dragon, a clever crow, a ghostly rabbit, a floating mushroom, an enchanted teapot—or something completely different. It might help a witch with their daily tasks, explore a magical forest, collect ingredients, solve little mysteries or simply curl up somewhere warm. Your job is to create a game inspired by A Witch’s Familiar . Interpret the theme in your own way: your familiar can be the main character, a companion, a creature you look after, a magical helper or the centre of a small story. You do not need to make a horror game. The whole point of this halloween jam is to show the other side of halloween games. Cosy, peaceful, funny, whimsical, heartwarming and gently spooky interpretations are all welcome.
