Welcome to the IGU Fall Jam! This is the fifteenth Indie Game Utopia game jam, and the goal is simple. You will have from Oct. 12 at 12:00 PM CEST to Oct. 26 at 12:00 PM CEST to create a game. After that, all participants will be able to vote on each other's entries, and the winner will be announced on Nov. 2. The theme of the jam is "you are the monster". For as long as people have existed, we have been afraid of monsters, and monsters show up in a lot of video games as enemies to be defeated, unstoppable threats to be avoided, or even creatures to be empathised with and befriended. And sometimes, people can become monsters, like vampires, werewolves or arguably even real-life serial killers. For this jam, you have to make a game where the monster is the main character. As usual, use your imagination! Joining the jam: To join, click the "join jam" button, and consider joining the Discord server or the Revolt/Stoat server if you're not already a member. Joining the server is optional, but if you don't, you have to tell us how we can contact you if you win. After joining, you can start working on your submission on your own or find people in the server to form a team. Prizes: A special "Game Jam Winner" role in the Discord and Stoat servers to let everyone know that you won the jam. An itch.io key for a game of the winner's choosing. The maximum price is $30, and if the winning submission is created by a team, all team members can pick a prize for themselves. Rules: Respect ea…
