Welcome to the Pixel Forge MEGA Jam, a 10-day game jam where developers, artists, designers, and creators come together to build something awesome. You have 10 days to create a game from scratch, experiment with ideas, and turn creativity into playable projects. Pixel Forge Jam is fiscally sponsored by The Hack Foundation (d.b.a. Hack Club), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We recommend checking out our website over here for more information and the timeline of the game jam. WORKSHOP DETAILS: It's a free 2 Hours Workshop for A Career in Video Games hosted by Karma Play ! Register for the event Make sure to join the Discord ! Will be announced at start of jam Participants must design their game around the theme. The theme can be interpreted in any way you like. All participants must record their daily progress either in the Discord server's #jam-progress channel or in a submitted document (PDF or Google Doc). You’re free to use any game engine you like, and you can participate solo or in a team of up to 4 people. All work should be created during the jam period. If you do use any pre-made assets make sure to properly credit them when submitting. Also, NO usage of AI-generated content. When you submit your game, include a short explanation of how you used the theme. NO hateful, offensive, or NSFW. If your game includes horror or violence, make sure to clearly mention it on your page. While not mandatory, submitting a browser-playable version is highly recommended since those usually get …
