PLAY ENTRIES AND VOTE NOW ⚠️ Disclaimer: This is NOT an open game jam. All contestants have applied beforehand, and this page is mainly for consolidating all PGMA itch.io entries. You may apply to join while/when sign-ups are open! We're joined this season by PixelOver ! A software for converting your 2D and 3D models to pixel art and smoothly animating pixel art sprites! Make use of pixel transformation tools, keyframing, skeletal animation, and advanced palette and indexation features! Check them out for a special PGMA discount! How does the contest progress? PGMA is elimination-style, consisting of 3 rounds within the season! Each round, about half the contestants are eliminated until one winner remains! How long do I have to make my game? Each round lasts 2-3 weeks, depending on the stage. This means it's very important not to overscope (we're not expecting the next Hollow Knight). What kind of art is allowed? All graphics must be pixel art. Other styles (like high-res bitmap art, voxels, or raster art) aren't allowed, though small elements may be exceptions. Can I use AI art or music? No way. Generative AI art or music is not accepted and will result in disqualification. Where do I have to make my game? Your games can be made with whatever engine you want!
