What is Planet Game Jam? Planet Game Jam is a 10-day-long game jam that happens every month. The theme of the jam is optional and is announced early, so that people can already plan out their games. In Planet Game Jam, your game must take place in a fictional and unique planet. The planet has to be a special part of the game, and not just a gimmick that is mentioned once. Join the Discord server to be notified of new jams, ask questions, hang out with people, etc.! Theme The game theme of Planet Game Jam is fully optional , just for inspiration. The theme of this edition of Planet Game Jam is: Artistic . Planet Theme The planet that you need to make for the jam also has a mandatory theme, which is chosen by the host just before the jam starts. The jam's cover usually has a tip as to what the planet theme is. The theme of this edition of Planet Game Jam is: Missing . Jam Rules These are rules you MUST follow, or else, your submission will be disqualified from the jam. Copyrighted and/or stolen assets are not allowed, unless you have the rights to use them.
