#19 RPG Maker is a simple game engine that is well suited for making classical JRPG-style games and has also been used to make many other different types of games. And now, it's time to make more of them! Hopefully, at the end of the game jam you will have something playable you can be proud of! Aside from any version of RPG Maker, this game jam also allows entries made in certain RPG Maker-like game engines and even games made in any other engine of your choice (with additional restrictions). Check the Rules and FAQ section below for details! You can also join the jam's Discord server! Theme: Star-crossed Lovers Love conquers all, so they say. Yet this sentiment seems hollow when a union is cursed by a malign star. Such is the fate of these two lovers, whom destiny itself works to keep apart. They have to fight the whims of fate, their feuding families or even dastardly villains plotting against them. This will be a story full of daring rescues, swashbuckling duels and most of all, romance. The important question is, will there be a happy ending? Or will the story of these two Star-crossed Lovers only end in tragedy? That is for you to decide in your game!
