Make something fun in one week. That’s the whole goal. Start building on Monday, submit your game by Sunday, then everyone gets to play each other’s games. Tiny, weird, cozy, chaotic, half-broken but charming, it all counts. Never made a game before? Perfect, come hang. 📅 Mon Oct 19, 17:00 UTC - Sun Oct 25, 19:00 UTC 🏆 Winner announced shortly after, prize is $250 in Summer Engine credits 🛠️ Use whatever tools you want. Summer Engine, Godot, AI, asset packs, your 2019 prototype. Anything goes. The theme is OUT OF CONTROL 🌀 Think about interesting ways to make things spiral out of control in your game, whether it’s wonky physics, controls that fight back, chain reactions, a situation that snowballs, anything! Make something new for this jam. Reusing your own code and assets is allowed! One submission per person, and submit on Summer Games (see submissions below) Credit any assets, music or code you didn’t make. No hateful, harassing, NSFW or stolen work. Be kind in the comments. Give constructive feedback, and play others’ games! Upload your game on Summer Games by the deadline. Here’s where to upload: summerengine.com/publish . Mark it as a submission to the Out of Control jam. Then, share it in our Discord in the summer-jam channel . That’s it! The prize is a bonus to keep building your game, the Summer team will pick the winner. The real goal is to try ideas, ship something, and have fun with the community! Speaking of the community, come say hi in our Discord! GLHF!
